The Meeting - training weekends for women leaders

Agnes and I had been preparing this training for weeks. November 10-11 in CB Pardubice was the first Meeting! It was the first of four weekends that our women's ministry team will be hosting this school year.
Women from all ages gathered to think about how they can better serve, or begin to serve, the women in their churches. About 25 women came from all different churches and from all over the country...the spirit of unity was amazing.
All of the feedback so far has been extremely encouraging. Many of us were able to connect with others and share ideas and recources. These women are, in the words of one, some of the most influential women in this country regarding women's ministry.

Everytime when I see women who want to serve other women I experience special joy. I pray for this group of women with a desire that God Himself would minister to them and through these women to others around.

Our team

This is the team of four. It is a great blessing to work together. God created each of us very differently and uniquely. As we work as Christ´s body we receive so much from each other. It is the real team work! It is one of the best teams I have ever worked with.

The beginning

It begun in September 2005. God called me into the full time ministry with Josiah Venture mission organization (www.josiahventure.com). The vision that was (and is) on the horizon for the Josiah Venture team, the vision that has captured our hearts, is a movement of God among young people that finds its home in the local church and transforms society. The part of this vision that God was personally leading me to was serving women leaders. For a few years we have seen a big need for this ministry. And there was time to step into it.

We are a team of four women now. We serve women leaders by providing trainings, materials, personal coaching and mentoring and building the net of women leaders who can support and encourage each other. All we do we submit to the needs of women leaders and their ministries in the local churches. That is why we are here - to strenghten the Bride of Jesus Christ!
